1. Why do Diagnostics results take a long time?

Most of the time taken is in blood sample transportation. On an average a sample has to travel for 6-8 hours for within city sample, and for 12-24 hours for out of city sample to reach a central lab where the actual tests are going to be run. This is what causes the delay in results to arrive. At Fastest we make sure that our samples do not travel for more than 15-20 minutes thereby drastically reducing the transportation time. Hence we are able to provide ‘FasTest’ reports.

2. What happens when a blood sample has to travel for long?

Not only do the results get delayed but more importantly the blood sample loses its freshness. A sample that is not fresh can lead to inaccuracies in the test results.
